We’ve had another brilliant day here at PGL, packed with adventure, laughter, and lots of teamwork. Our full day of exciting activities started with some groups orienteering, testing our map-reading skills and working together to navigate the grounds, while others went climbing and showed amazing perseverance (and a little bit of monkey-like agility!) as they scaled the walls with confidence.
Later in the day, we took part in a fast-paced scavenger hunt, racing to find hidden items and solve clues – it was a great chance to explore and get competitive. Dodgeball was a big hit too, with some very enthusiastic throws and plenty of ducking and diving!
We also had the chance to get stuck into bushcraft, learning useful survival skills and embracing the outdoors. A real highlight was High All Aboard – where children had to climb a tall platform, stand together at the top, and then place their trust in one another by leaning back while holding hands. It was an incredible display of bravery, trust, and teamwork, and everyone who gave it a go should feel very proud.
After dinner, we ended the day gathered around the campfire. We sang songs and it was a lovely way to wind down after such an action-packed day.
We’re all in high spirits and looking forward to whatever tomorrow brings!
