It has been a wonderful start to the new term and the new year. Despite the gloomy weather of rain and snow, it has been a joy to see the children return to school full of happiness, enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn. Their positive attitudes have truly brightened our days.
Due to the unsettled weather, I kindly ask that you ensure your child comes to school with a suitable coat, ideally with a hood, along with a hat, scarf and gloves. Please make sure that all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name, as this helps us enormously.
This week we also enjoyed the return of the Lucky Plate in the dining hall, which was a great success. Certificates were awarded during today’s Celebration Assembly, and prizes will be given out next week. We are already looking forward to the next Lucky Plate event.
We have also reignited our House system, and I am delighted to announce that this week’s winning house, with the most points, is Faith House. Well done to all the children and adults in Faith House for their fantastic effort.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend, and let us hope that the sunshine continues to shine upon us all.
