On Wednesday 25th March, we were honoured to take part in the St Oscar Romero Catholic Academy Trust celebration of “Walking the Way of the Cross,” held at St George’s Cathedral.
All schools within our Trust came together for this special and prayerful occasion. Our contribution focused on The Last Supper, which was reverently re-enacted by the children of St Therese class. They demonstrated exceptional respect, beautiful oracy, and deeply thoughtful acting, bringing great meaning to this important moment in the story of Holy Week. Children who were not part of the performance formed part of the congregation, and their exemplary behaviour and respectful attitude throughout the service reflected our school values so clearly.
I was incredibly proud to accompany the children, and it was a particular honour for our Head Boy to take part in the Headteacher procession, walking alongside me to place our school candle on the altar. Well done, St Therese class—you represented our school with great pride and dignity.
