This week, St Joseph’s class visited Lavender Pond for a fun outdoor learning experience. The children enjoyed pond dipping, where they had the chance to carefully hold tadpoles and learn more about pond life.
They also went on a mini-beast hunt, discovering a variety of tiny creatures in their natural habitat. It was a fantastic morning, and everyone had so much fun! As part of their learning about creatures big and small, they saw amazing flowers in many different colours, thousands of tadpoles and birds, and explored the habitat of tiny newts; inspired by our visit, they then created our own garden and pond.
