On Wednesday, our Year 6 St Therese Class enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to the National Portrait Gallery.
The students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of fascinating portraits, learning about significant figures from history and how art can be used to tell powerful stories. They took part in engaging discussions and activities that helped deepen their understanding of portraiture, identity and historical impact.
The children represented the school beautifully with their excellent behaviour and enthusiasm throughout the day. It was a wonderful experience that enriched their learning and sparked lots of thoughtful conversations back in the classroom.
